Profile

Allison Young, Ph.D., is a Project Manager and Senior Geologist with over eight years of experience in environmental consulting, specializing in brownfield redevelopment, site characterization, remediation, and regulatory compliance.

She has successfully managed complex assessment and remediation projects, including Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), geophysical surveys, asbestos and lead-based paint investigations, multi-media remediation, and operations and maintenance for long-term groundwater remediation systems.

Dr. Young combines field and laboratory expertise with technical leadership, overseeing project teams, coordinating subcontractors, and delivering high-quality reports and presentations. She has extensive experience with Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Ohio Department of Development programs, including per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) investigations, dense non-aqueous phase liquid (DNAPL) recovery, and Ohio Voluntary Action Program (VAP)-compliant remediation, and served as an instructor for United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) groundwater investigation training. Her work integrates geologic expertise, project management, and a strong commitment to client satisfaction and environmental protection.
