With over seven years’ experience as an environmental consultant and two years’ experience as a researcher at the University of Melbourne, Andrew brings a wealth of knowledge to the EHS Support team.
Working on projects across Australia in both rural and urban contexts, he has delivered conceptual models, risk, and hydrogeological assessments on Australia’s largest urban infrastructure and design projects combining complex hydrogeological, contaminated land, and geotechnical information. Andrew’s experience includes large-scale tunnel projects, landfills, chlorinated solvent sites, PFOS/PFAS management, soil and groundwater remediation. He has also worked alongside with the CSIRO to engineer innovative sampling methods to accurately characterise complex contaminant fate and transport.
Andrew has experience with various software packages related to GIS (Arc GIS and ESDAT) and geological modelling (GOCAD and Leapfrog). He has created large scale geological models for various tunnel projects including, Melbourne Metro (Victoria), Western Distributor (Victoria), East West Link (Victoria) West Connex (NSW) and Cross River Rail (Brisbane).
