As co-founder and CEO, Andy Patz has helped EHS Support grow into a dynamic, geographically dispersed, and technically diverse team of some of the smartest minds in the business. For over 20 years, he’s been serving clients in both the private and public sectors, helping them properly manage financial risk associated with environmental liabilities. Andy’s vast portfolio includes experience with Remediation, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), aka Superfund, sites. In addition to developing proprietary remedial cost and probability models for business portfolios worldwide, he has designed and managed projects from phased site assessments through site closure under RCRA, CERCLA, and various voluntary action programs across the country. Through his extensive remediation and field construction background, he is able to forecast and estimate future costs, not only for due diligence, but to support clients in setting financial reserves and provisions and developing accurate financial assurance estimates. Andy also has extensive experience managing Superfund and RCRA liabilities and developing allocation strategies as a potentially responsible party (PRP) representative and has played a leading role in several EPA “MegaSites.” His management and negotiation experience, combined with his strong interpersonal skills, enables him to ensure the project’s plan, budget, and schedule remain the primary focus in multi-party group situations.
