Cassie Johnson is a licensed professional engineer and project manager with more than two decades of diverse remediation experience working as a consultant for both private and public-sector clients. During this time she has led projects ranging from phased-site investigations through site remediation under CERCLA, RCRA, and state regulatory programs, in several states including New York, Wisconsin, Michigan, North Carolina and Maine, as well as internationally.Cassie’s work has included researching sources of environmental contaminants, determining nature and extent, evaluating exposure pathways, reviewing human health and ecological risk assessments, comparing concentrations with regulations and site-specific risk criteria, evaluating options and costs, and implementing remedies. In addition to her consulting work, she has worked in the public sector for the State of Wisconsin and in the sustainability non-profit sector. In these roles she implemented state and federal regulations, developed voluntary compliance standards, and worked with applicants, manufacturers, and stakeholders to ensure compliance.
