Cecilia (Ceil) Mancini

Ceil Mancini is a remediation specialist with decades of experience working in the investigation and assessment of contaminated aquatic systems to inform their remediation. Most of her work involves management of aquatic systems, risk assessment, and risk-based decision-making, monitoring, and restoration in the framework of federal and state programs. Ms. Mancini has served as Program Manager, Project Manager, and regulatory liaison for a variety of CERCLA, RCRA, and state voluntary programs throughout the United States and in Latin America. She has done extensive work in East Coast estuaries, with particular emphasis on the Mid-Atlantic region.

For more than 15 years she has had a variety of roles from Senior Technical Consultant to Program Manager for a complex mercury site on the East Coast. More recently she has focused her efforts on ’emerging contaminants’ including PFAS and Microplastics.
