Jordan Mandel is an experienced project scientist with over 23 years of expertise in environmental and groundwater resource management. His extensive background includes leading soil and groundwater assessments, remediation projects, and managing complex environmental challenges. His project experience includes all aspects of environmental work, including human health risk assessments (HHRA); preparation and review of remedial investigation work plans and reports, feasibility studies, remedial action plans, removal action plans, and remedial action closure plans; development of remedial cost estimates; operations and maintenance; and negotiations with regulatory agencies. Jordan specialises in soil vapor/sub-slab and indoor air assessments, remedial design, drilling (direct push, hollow-stem auger, air and mud rotary, and sonic), groundwater well design, installation, development and monitoring, underground storage tank removal, large-scale remedial excavations, and remediation activities.
Jordan has successfully managed high-impact projects such as dense non-aqueous phase liquid (DNAPL) site remediation, nitrate remediation at former industrial sites, and implementation of advanced in-situ technologies for soil and groundwater treatment. His leadership in executing innovative solutions, such as permeable reactive barriers and soil vapor extraction systems, has consistently delivered results that meet regulatory standards and facilitate redevelopment efforts.
