Julian is a Principal Environmental Consultant with over 15 years of broad experience leading environmental businesses and delivering investigation and remediation projects for a range of complex contamination issues. Project experience has allowed Julian to develop complimentary skills in facilitating stakeholder and media engagement to communicate contamination issues and been requested to act as expert witness for the Crown Solicitor in environmental court proceedings. He has also developed a strong understanding of the requirements and triggers of the new South Australian Planning, Development and Infrastructure Act (2016) with regards to site contamination. Julian has expertise in the assessment, mitigation and communication of risks and liability posed by contaminants in soil and water environments, and the delivery of pragmatic, risk-based solutions focused on meeting the client’s objectives.

A Certified Environmental Practitioner – Site Contamination Specialist (CenvP SC) since 2016, Julian has sat on assessment panels for the scheme and delivered presentations to universities, conferences (CleanUp and EIANZ), and the Urban Development Institute of Australia.
