Kris Spikes has over 15 years of professional experience providing project management and technical support for surface and subsurface petroleum and hazardous waste-field investigations and environmental site assessments specifically related to geology and hydrogeology. Over the years Kris has assisted in remediation technology through operational oversight of soil and groundwater treatment systems including air sparging, soil vapor extraction, dual-phase extraction, in-situ injection treatment, natural attenuation, and source removal. Her professional experience also includes health-and-safety management relating to hazardous waste operations and emergency response. In addition to providing safety training, she has developed and implemented air-monitoring programs and acted as an on-site safety officer for multiple U.S. EPA Superfund sites. Kris has also provided health-and-safety services to program-specific contracts, developed site-specific safety and health plans, maintained OSHA compliance, performed internal safety auditing, and developed and implemented safety incentive programs.
