Ryan Sawyer is an Environmental Scientist based in Cincinnati, Ohio, with two years of experience specializing in geologic and hydrogeologic assessments of industrial and commercial sites for federal, state, and private clients. He has served as a member of the United States Environmental Protection Agency’s (USEPA) Superfund Technical Assessment & Response Team (START) in Region 5, providing on-call environmental services. Ryan has conducted field geological services, including monitoring well installation, development, and sampling of soil, groundwater, soil vapor, and indoor air. He produces high-quality technical reports and has experience performing American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (Phase I ESAs), Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Voluntary Action Program (VAP) Phase I and II Property Assessments (Phase I & II PAs), and Bureau of Underground Storage Tank Regulations (BUSTR) corrective action and closure for various sites across Ohio. Additionally, Ryan, as an Ohio Licensed Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) Asbestos Building Inspector and Certified Lead Inspector, has completed field surveys for asbestos-containing material (ACM) and lead-based paint (LBP), along with preparation of survey reports for various pre-demolition and pre-renovation projects throughout Ohio.
