EHS Support partnered with Red Feet Wines to analyse data from a pumping test and support their application to adjust the use of a pumping bore at the Red Feet Winery. The request involved changing its purpose from stock and domestic use to irrigation and increasing the annual extraction limit to 50 ML.
To meet the requirements for works approvals with annual extraction limits, a pumping test was carried out on the production bore in accordance with Australian Standard AS 2368-1990 (Test Pumping of Water Wells).
The objectives of the assessment included:
- Evaluating the aquifer’s response to the proposed extraction rate.
- Estimating the aquifer’s transmissivity.
- Preparing a comprehensive report to support the application.
Upon completing the assessment, EHS Support assisted Red Feet Wines with their Groundwater Licence Application, ensuring all necessary documentation and data were provided for regulatory compliance.
