EHS Support is providing ongoing environmental approvals support for the Mt Fisher and Wagtail Gold Mine Project on behalf of High-Tech Metals Ltd in the Northern Goldfields region of Western Australia. The project involves the development of the Wagtail open pit, assessment of opportunities to utilise existing Mt Fisher stockpiles, and the progression of associated mining and infrastructure approvals required to support future operations. EHS Support has been engaged to provide strategic approvals management, ensuring the project maintains a clear pathway through the regulatory process while supporting timely project development.
Our role includes coordinating environmental approvals, maintaining visibility of current and future approval requirements, engaging with regulators, and preparing the technical documentation required to support project assessment and decision-making. This involves working closely with the client and specialist consultants to identify approval risks early, align project planning with regulatory obligations, and ensure environmental considerations are incorporated into project design and execution.
EHS Support’s Samantha Mickan and Jacinta Saad are currently working with High-Tech Metals as to Manage their approvals, which includes, supporting the approvals schedule, Mine Development and Closure Plan, water licence management, compliance documentation, Environmental Management Plan, induction material, compliance and stakeholder engagement registers, regulator engagement, baseline provider coordination, scopes of work, spatial data review, heritage clearance survey review, and the development of other approval instruments as required.
By providing integrated approvals strategy and regulatory support, EHS Support is helping High-Tech Metals progress the Mt Fisher and Wagtail Project with greater certainty, reducing approval risks and supporting efficient project delivery. This project demonstrates our capability to manage complex mining approvals in Western Australia, combining regulatory expertise, stakeholder engagement, and practical project management to help clients achieve successful development outcomes.
