EHS Support delivered the development of an Environment Plan (EP) for Hancock Energy to support a 225 square kilometre 3Dimensional (3D) seismic acquisition survey located in the Shires of Mingenew and Three Springs in Western Australia.
The EP addressed all phases of the seismic program, including positional surveying and seismic line planning (Phase I), seismic acquisition and data recording (Phase II), and remediation activities following survey completion (Phase III). Supporting activities such as mobilisation and demobilisation, establishment and management of personnel laydown areas, and waste handling were also assessed. For each activity, environmental aspects, potential impacts, and relevant control measures were identified, demonstrating that risks would be managed to as low as reasonably practicable (ALARP) and to acceptable levels through avoidancebased design, procedural controls, monitoring, and rehabilitation measures consistent with regulator guidance.
