Since 2023, EHS Support has managed the delivery of our Client’s regional groundwater monitoring program, which comprises monitoring of 300+ groundwater bores spread across numerous properties in Central Queensland. The purpose of the program is to assess potential impacts to aquifer potentiometric surface levels and water quality associated with gas extraction in the region.
The general scope of the program included monitoring of water levels and quality, data logger installation, data downloads, sample collection and equipment maintenance. EHS Support and selected staff members also hold electrical contractor licenses and associated insurances allowing for repairs, testing and tagging of electrical items (if required).
Monitoring campaigns are conducted on a six-monthly basis, with field rotations of ten to fourteen days. EHS Support is integrated into the client’s operations, processes, safety standards and systems. EHS Support self-manages the monitoring schedule and coordination of site access using the client’s land access request system.
Our team brings a breadth of monitoring experience and problem-solving skills to the project. We are focused on efficient and successful data collection, and approach each monitoring campaign prepared for any circumstances that may be encountered in what can be a challenging remote working environment.
